Declare Result of Pending Set Exam due to SEBC Reservation
Demand to Chief Minister through Teacher MLA Advocate Kiranrao Sarnaik
Washim: A statement was given to Chief Minister Eknath Shinde through Amravati Divisional Teacher Constituency MLA Advocate Kiranrao Sarnaik on behalf of set examinees that the result of the Maharashtra set examination, which was stalled due to SEBC reservation, should be announced.
The statement said that the 39th SET examination was conducted by the SET department of Savitribai Phule Pune University on 7th April 2024 for the students of Maharashtra and Goa states in various colleges in 17 cities. This year 1 lakh 28 thousand 243 students had registered for this exam. Out of them 1 lakh 9 thousand 154 students were actually present. On behalf of Savitribai Phule Pune University set department, the actual result preparation work has been completed, should the result be announced by including the SEBC reservation implemented by the state government? Information has been received through the university that guidance has been sought from the state government in this regard. But still the university has not received any guidance from the state government. So even after more than 100 days, the set exam result has not been announced yet. Advertisements of many assistant professor posts in the university have been released and many students will be deprived of this post if the result of Maharashtra set exam is not released in time. Efforts are being made by the students in various ways to get the results of the set examination, but no decision has been taken by the government yet. Therefore, candidates Pradip Pattebahadur and Yuvraj Rathod have requested to announce the results of the set exam immediately through Amravati Divisional Teacher Constituency MLA Advocate Kiranrao Sarnaik through a statement to the Chief Minister.
